Small organized crimes

The activity we did on the organized crime groups was enlightening. I knew that it happened but i didnt know any details. My gangster in particular put herself in a position that she could never be charged with a crime because she was the mastermind but the cops couldn't find any evidence. The crimes that were commited must have taken some truly gifted criminal minds to commit and cover it up. A lot of times the film's criminals are portrayed with either sub-par planning skills or they have a single flaw that gets them caught everytime. Yet they always break out of jail. Then they go on to commit a even larger crime. this is something that these gangsters did in real life. A lot of them broke out of jail and went on to commit another crime. They all seemed to have that one thing that got them caught. Al Capone for example didnt do his taxes right.  Kate "Ma" Barker was determined to stand by her son in the shoot-out in FL. Everybody knows they did it but the system can't prove it so they get to keep doing it until they slip up.
